INVISIBLE CITIES PIRATE RADIO

Invisible Cities Radio is an alternative to mainstream radio in Johannesburg. It is a place for artists and experiments. A place to talk about our city.

ICR started at an event, a drive in concert as part of the Invisible Cities series before it started moving around to semi-permanent homes and popping up at events or as part of public art projects.

There were some shows that happened semi-regularly but mostly when people felt like trying something out.

It's an ongoing experiment with the free and easy access of the medium.
