To Kick a Stone – a composition for modular synthesiser, field recordings and bass clarinet – is a direct response to paintings by Chibuike Uzoma (Nigeria/U.S.) for his solo exhibition at Simon Lee Gallery, London, and takes its title from the exhibition title.
A multichannel version of the work accompanies the exhibition as an immersive soundscape.
